This is a book on prayer for all age groups. There are many religions all across the globe. Different religions have different beliefs and deities. This book is Christo-centric. I firmly believe that every believer needs to read this book. Whenever we talk about prayer, some people view it as a hard work. Hence, people with bad work experience or those who see their bosses as mean can relate their jobs to prayers.
Therefore, such individuals view prayer as a hard word. Some people find prayer as boring while others too take delight in it. Some see prayers as the source of life. They can’t do life without prayers. There are so many quotes on prayers like “more prayer, more power, less prayer, less power!” and“ God does nothing without prayer!” Tome, I believe that this quote tops it all – “prayer is the most powerful weapon of war!’
Prayer is communicating or fellowshipping with God. This book explains what prayer is about. Prayer is a sacrifice, and it is powerful! The Lord Jesus taught His disciples how to pray. He highlighted on the ‘the will of God.” Prayer is about the will of God being done on earth as it is in Heaven, and not the will of man. God’s will can be either “perfect “or “permissive.”
The book also elaborates on different types of prayers; however, it teaches extensively about the prayer of faith or fervent prayers! Faith is the common currency used for all transactions in Christendom. Just as we have different ways of communicating, we have different types of prayers, such as the prayer of agreement, the repentance, spiritual warfare prayers, the prayer of consecration, the prayer of thanksgiving and so forth.
The book explains faith and the different types of faith mentioned in the Bible. The book also teaches about some important keys to a fervent prayer! The ways to position or posture yourself when praying and some of the examples of fervent prayers in the Bible. The book gives the reader a few examples of some individuals in the Bible who trusted on God’s word and God used them in an extraordinary way. It also teaches, especially the new beginners in the faith of how to pray. The book concludes with an important topic, “hindrances to prayer of faith.” The book highlights on some of the hindrances like unforgiveness, unbelief, pride, etc. These can hinder our prayers, especially in fervent prayers. We may have the gift of miracles, but if we live in unforgiveness our prayers can be hindered. I believe you’re being blessed by reading this book.
